Melvin Wins Big In Early May!

May has been good to Melvin! We have participated in four beer festivals and received eight awards.

2x4 took home the ‘Best of Show’ award at Bellingham Brewfest April 28. Yes, it’s not May, but it’s close enough so we are counting it.

At the prestigious World Beer Cup in Philly, PA Melvin’s Carlton was selected by judges as a Silver (2nd) out of 67 other entries in the American Style Black Ale category.

At the AmeriCAN Canned Craft Beer Festival in Scottsdale, AZ Melvin’s Hubert Pale Ale took home the ‘Best in Show’ award and was selected by a panel of judges as the best canned craft beer out of 346 entries.  Additionally, Hubert won a Gold in the Pale Ale category.  Melvin IPA also was awarded Gold and named the best canned IPA at the festival.

At the Grand Valley Beer Festival in Grand Junction, CO Melvin IPA was awarded ‘Best in Show’ by a panel of BJCP certified judges. Melvin IPA was also selected as Gold in the IPA category. Hubert was selected for Silver in the Pale Ale Category.

The Melvin crew gives a huge thanks to the Bellingham Brewfest, World Beer Cup, AmeriCAN Canned Craft Beer Festival and Grand Valley Beer Festival and their judges for hosting. Big congratulations to all the other craft breweries who took home awards! See you out there!
